When you attend an AFF event or use our online platforms, you agree to use them only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe upon the rights of others or restrict or inhibit anyone else’s use and enjoyment of the services.

Specifically, you agree that you will not:

  • Engage in any illegal activity or activity that violates any applicable local, national, or international law
  • Upload, post, or share any content that is harmful, offensive, or inappropriate
  • Interfere with the security or integrity of the AFF website or event platforms
  • Send unsolicited communications (e.g., spam) to other attendees or sponsors
  • Engage in any activity that may harm or exploit other users, including but not limited to unauthorised collection of personal data

3. Event Registration and Participation

To register for AFF events, you may be required to provide personal information such as your name, email, company details, and payment information. By registering, you agree to provide accurate and complete information.

  • Registration Fees: For paid events, all fees must be paid in full before you will be granted access to the event. Any changes or cancellations must comply with our cancellation policy, which will be outlined during the registration process.
  • Participation Rules: We reserve the right to refuse entry to or remove any participant from the event if they violate these Terms of Use or disrupt the event.

4. Account Security

If you create an account for an AFF event or to use our services, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login information. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. We are not responsible for any loss or damage that results from unauthorised access to your account.

5. Intellectual Property

All content provided by the AFF website, event platforms, and related services—including text, graphics, logos, images, videos, and software—is owned or licensed by AFF and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without our prior written consent.

  • Use of Event Materials: Materials shared during AFF events, such as presentations or reports, are for personal use only. You are not permitted to redistribute or share these materials unless expressly authorised by us or the respective owner of the materials.

 

6. User-Generated Content

As part of participating in AFF events or interacting with the AFF platform, you may post comments, submit feedback, or upload content. By doing so, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, distribute, and display the content in connection with AFF services and events.

You warrant that any content you submit does not violate the intellectual property rights of any third party and is not harmful, illegal, or offensive.

7. Sponsorship and Partner Interaction

If you interact with AFF event sponsors and partners, either through the event platform or at the event itself, the collection and use of your information by sponsors or partners are subject to their respective privacy policies and terms. AFF is not responsible for the content or practices of these third-party organisations.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AFF is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages that may arise from your use of our website, event platforms, or participation in AFF events. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, data, or other intangible losses.

AFF makes no warranties regarding the availability, reliability, or accuracy of the event content or materials provided.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AFF, its affiliates, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms of Use or your participation in AFF events.
